POSTING RULES:
- Please remember that The Wylie View, LLC and its administrators ARE NOT responsible for any messages posted. The Wylie View, LLC does not vouch for or warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any message, and is not responsible for the contents of any message. The messages expressed are the views of the author of the message and are not necessarily the views of The Wylie View, LLC or its owners and moderators/administrators.

- You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use The Wylie View, LLC to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person’s privacy, or otherwise in violation  of any law (local, state, or federal).

- Name calling of other members will not be tolerated and could result in warnings and possible cooling down or a ban. Disruptive behavior exhibited on the message board, spam or click-through advertising of any means will not be tolerated; doing so could result in warnings and possible cooling down or a ban. The administrators and moderators of The Wylie View, LLC reserve the right to amend the terms of service, as needed, without warning or notification.

- The Wylie View, LLC is intended to be an office friendly message board providing participants with useful information and exchanging ideas to help shape our growing community. The Wylie View, LLC administrators and moderators reserve the right to revoke your membership at any time without warning or cause.

- Any user who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to contact an administrator and/or moderator immediately by e-mail or private message. Administrators and moderators have the ability to edit objectionable messages and will make every effort to do so within a reasonable time frame, if removal is deemed necessary by the The Wylie View, LLC administrators and moderators.

- When you start a topic, ONLY DO IT IN ONE FORUM. Please do not start multiple topics about the same subject. Find the appropriate forum for your topic and begin your topic ONLY in that forum. Cross posting is not allowed and your membership could be revoked if you violate this rule.

PRIVATE MESSAGING & EMAIL FEATURES:

- The Wylie View, LLC, does not have access to your Private Messages (PM) or Email. The LLC also will not be held accountable or responsible for any transaction, discussion, or personal claims, attacks, etc. made in PM or Email. If an individual feels threatened in a PM or Email, please take your concerns to the local authorities.

BUY/SELL/TRADE/GIVING AWAY RULES:
- This section is for people wanting to Buy, Sell, Trade, or Give Away something. This is NOT a section for you to post your opinions or commentary. ONLY POST IF YOU ARE WANTING TO TAKE PART IN THE TRANSACTION. If you have any opinions about something in this forum and you feel the need to make a comment, start a topic in another forum.

- No "click through" or "pay by the click" advertising.

- Please limit "bumping" your post to every three days.

WARNING AND COOLING DOWN PROCESS:
- If it is brought to an administrator's or moderator's attention that a user has made a post that is in direct violation of the Terms of Service (TOS), the violator will be taken out of Member status and placed in an Under Review status. The Wylie View, LLC administrators and moderators have 24 hours to decide what action to take, if any. The violator will receive a Private Message (PM) stating why they are Under Review.

- Action may include: formal warning, cooling down, an immediate ban, or no action. A decision will be made once The Wylie View, LLC administrators and moderators have discussed the situation.

- A formal warning consists of an administrator or moderator sending a PM to the violator requesting they refrain from future TOS violations. The violator’s status will be switched back to member status.

- Cooling Down status is used on more serious violations of the TOS and there are three phases.

• First Offense: User is placed in Cooling Down for 2 weeks without the ability to post or send/receive PMs.
• Second Offense: User is placed in Cooling Down for 4 weeks without the ability to post or send/receive PMs.
• Third Offense: User is banned for 2 years. The Wylie View, LLC administrators and moderators will review the violations of the user and determine whether to allow the user to become a member again or to permanently ban the user.

- Immediate Ban is used in extreme cases in which the user is totally offensive or disruptive.

- The Wylie View, LLC administrators and moderators posting as an administrator or moderator on behalf of the The Wylie View, LLC will use the underline and italics features throughout an entire post or in private messages. This will distinguish official The Wylie View, LLC business from regular posts written by an administrator or moderator who wish to express their individual and personal opinions that is not on the behalf of the The Wylie View, LLC.

EDITING OF POSTS:
The Wylie View, LLC administrators and moderators will NOT edit posts except under the following conditions:

• Posts containing material deemed offensive by The Wylie View, LLC administrators and moderators;
• in the event a member’s name, address, email, or phone number is posted by another member without consent, the identifying information will be removed at the request of the identified member or if deemed removable by a The Wylie View, LLC administrator or moderator;
• in the event a member other than a parent posts a child's full name, the full name will be removed as well as a child's address, email, or phone number if posted.

These conditions will not apply if the name is of a public figure or already of public knowledge.

USERNAME RULES:
- When registering for an account, please be certain that this is the username you want to use from here on out. Once you have posted using this username, you will not have the option to change to another. Please do not ask the administrators to change your name; they do not have the capability to do this.  

- If you wish to remain anonymous, please pick your username carefully, and do not use your real name as your username. Do not use your full e-mail address as your username (example “ username@e-mail.com”).

- Please keep your user name office friendly. If deemed unfit to use by The Wylie View, LLC, your registration process will be denied.

- There is a ONE USER NAME PER PERSON rule. Once registered, please do not try to re-register using another username. That is your one username, so choose carefully. Trying to re-register with another username could lead to a ban from the board.

REGISTRATION RULES:
- YOUR REGISTRATION WILL NOT BE PROCESSED if you do not provide your real full name (first and last). Your real name will not be seen by other Wylie View members. If you register with an e-mail address from Yahoo, Hotmail, Gmail or any other freemail service, it may take extra time to process your registration.  

- If you would like to speed up your registration process, you can send an e-mail to Msgboard@WylieView.com with your real name, user name, address and phone number. The membership committee will process your registration and contact you if they have any questions. Your information is CONFIDENTIAL and will NOT be disclosed or sold to a third party, unless requested by court order or criminal investigation.  

- After you register, an e-mail will be sent to confirm your e-mail address. You must click the link in that e-mail to verify your e-mail address and to continue the registration process. This is a necessary step of the registration process. Some internet e-mail providers may mistakenly place this e-mail in your JUNK or SPAM e-mail folder.  

- After your e-mail address is verified, you will receive a verification e-mail from the membership committee asking for your real name, address and phone number, if not already provided. Again, THIS IS FOR REGISTRATION PURPOSES only. While these steps may seem excessive, The Wylie View, LLC is an office friendly community message board. We take these steps and precautions only to keep it as office friendly as possible, and try to deter spamming, automated computer messages, adware, trouble makers, multiple users, etc.

- We have the right to refuse membership to anyone at any time for any reason.
